Hey friends! Just stopping in on a Saturday morning with this friendly PSA. Are you ready for this ground breaking announcement?
Sometimes all it takes to refresh a room is a can of spray paint.
I know, I know! Astonishing, right!? Well the truth is sometimes I get a little caught up in all of the picture perfect spaces, big long DIY projects, and I forget that sometimes all I really need is 10 minutes and a $5 can of spray paint. Take a look at this before and after.
The most time consuming part was putting the tape down and bringing my canvas in from the garage. Once that big part was done (note the sarcasm) then I spent approximately 4.5 minutes spray painting.

Suddenly this lamp that we’ve had for 7 or 8 years has a whole new look, and makes the room feel warmer and more inviting. Not to mention it’s now a beautiful, big statement lamp.
So take a minute to think about it. What is something you could paint in your home? Something metal? Plastic? One can of spray paint and 10 minutes and you can breathe new life into something old.
Sometimes your favorite projects end up being the ones that take little time or effort!
Happy DIYing friends,
P.S. Love the look of this arched lamp? You can find one just like it from West Elm!
